How to Get Baby Soft Skin

Don't you hate having dry, ashy, or rough skin? By taking on a few simple habits, you can be well on your way to having baby-smooth skin.
Steps
1. Cleanse your skin once a day with soap, water, and a soft sponge.
2. The MOST important step- Ex-fo-li-ate! Exfoliate once a week or once a fortnight if you have sensitive skin. It will remove dead skin cells, dirt and oil and will leave your skin baby soft!
3. Pat dry with a towel. Don't rub or scrub - this damages your skin and also creates wrinkles later on in life.
4. Apply lotion or cream before you leave the steam-filled bathroom. This is the best time to moisturize your skin because your pores are still open and your skin is still moist.
5. Wear sunblock if you're going to step outside of your house. One of the reasons babies have such soft skin is that they haven't been exposed to the harmful effects of UV rays!
6. Moisturize especially dry or tough areas, especially the feet, elbows, knees, and hands, right before going to sleep.
7. Drink half your weight in ounces of water every day. For example, if you weigh 140 lbs., you should drink 70 ounces of water every day. This will keep your skin hydrated from the inside out.
8. Take a daily multivitamin to help your skin fight off damage and wrinkles.
9. After your shower put baby oil on your skin. Another step that is important to getting baby soft skin!
10. If you take a bath put 5 capfuls of baby oil in the water
11. After bath or shower dry skin and put on lotion
12. Put on powder after bath or shower
Tips
- Gentle, unscented soaps are best for your skin.
- Remember that your skin is your body's largest and most vulnerable organ. Take good care of it!
- In step 4 one can use baby oil, preferably with aloe vera and vitamin E, instead of lotion. Make sure there is some water left on the skin after patting dry, simply to avoid excessive oiliness.
- Add a handful of sugar to your favorite lotion and mix. Rub it into your dry skin and then towel it off.

Beautiful Sexy Legs

Besides their eyes and breasts, women's legs are a primary target for men's visual inspection. Men highly value those which are very long, with beautifully shaped calves, but not too muscular.

Beautiful legs normally have a space between ankle and calves and between calves and knees, and a small space above the touching knees. This, however, does not automatically mean that just because your legs are not like that, they are not attractive and well shaped.

Many women think that their legs are too fat or too thin. Unfortunately, the actual shape of your legs cannot be easily changed. However, with exercise you can improve muscle tone and make them look better.

How To Have Beautiful Legs:

If your legs are too fat, lose fat by going on a sensible diet and exercise. Start a regular sport activity or go to the gym.Sometimes, legs may not be fat, but look heavy, because of bad circulation. Put your legs and feet up.If your legs are too thin, improve them with exercise. The legs can look much more attractive with better muscle tone. Walking and bicycling are wonderful exercises for shapely legs. At the office, walk up the stairs, instead of taking the elevator!Avoid standing for prolonged periods of time to reduce the appearance of varicose veins.Smooth legs look more appealing than fuzzy legs. Creams can be used as hair removers, and there are quite a number of shaving tools present in the market. But the best natural depilatory is a turmeric paste, apply it before a bath, and leave it on to dry. After a bath, make your skin feel good by moisturising it.Avoid excessive sun exposureAvoid baths that are too hotElevate or raise your legs when sleepingAlways finish your shower with a cold water jet on your legsDrink a lot.

Anti Aging Skin Care - 7 Tips On Looking Younger

1. Drink plenty of water every day - most doctors recommend 7 to 10 glasses a day. Water flushes out toxins, keeping your body and skin clean. Also your skin will look clearer and plumper if it is not dry. Definitely the first step for "anti aging skin care" to look younger.

2. Eat a healthy balanced diet, include something from all the major food groups each day in your diet. Eat plenty of fibre and fresh fruit and vegetables. The UK government recommends five portions of fruit and vegetables are eaten daily, however this should be the minimum amount you eat. Fruit and vegetables contain many essential vitamins and minerals that help maintain and repair the skin and cells. Not only will your skin look younger but your body will age better and you will be less prone to many common diseases of old age. The prefect "anti aging skin care solution" Also avoid eating fatty and oily foods which increase your weight but do not give you anything nutritionally. Overweight people generally look and feel much older than they are.

3. Aim to lead a stress free, calm existence. If you are stressed the body releases chemicals which years ago would have helped you to deal with the problem with "fight" or "flight". Since these are not a solution to most of life today’s problems, the chemicals will stay in your body and cause you to become mentally or physically ill. Ensure that you sleep well and exercise regularly. Use whichever techniques help you to relax - taking a long warm bath, massage or aroma therapy are just a few to try. Remember, extreme stress will just cause your hair to go white and your face to look tired and lined. Enjoy life!

4. Regular exercise, taken at least 3 times a week and daily if possible, will work wonders in helping you look and feel younger. Ensure the exercise is vigorous enough to make you break out in a sweat and your skin will look younger as toxins are flushed out. Remember to contact your doctor before drastically changing your exercise regime.
5. Avoid UV radiation as it is the major cause of premature skin aging and wrinkles. Ensure you always have adequate sun protection for the climate and your skin type. Buy facial moisturisers which contain UV protection for daily use. Use of a good quality high factor sun cream should be part of your daily routine. A tan might look good for a while but you will age and wrinkle quickly and be more prone to skin diseases such as cancers.

6. Try to cut out nicotine and alcohol consumption. Smoking will age you as chemicals in the smoke are aging to the skin and will reverse your anti aging skin care process. Additionally, if you are forever squinting through smoke, crow’s lines around the eyes will appear all too quickly. Alcoholic drinks contain many toxins which are harmful to your health. Excessive drinking will mean your liver no longer copes with ridding your body of these toxins.

7. Look for skin care products which are anti aging (those containing the ingredients Vitamin C, retinol and ceramides are very good). Try different anti aging skin care products to see which works best for you and moisturise daily. Remember, if you feel good about yourself, you will look good.

How To Wax Your Legs

* Choose your product. There are waxes or sugar solutions available.

* Read instructions thoroughly... twice.

* If product needs to be heated, do so for suggested time.

* Test the temperature so that you don't burn yourself.

* Check legs to be sure that they are dry. This is very important.

* For first time waxers, apply a thin layer of wax/sugar solution in a small area of the leg following hair growth direction.

* Press muslin strip onto leg.

* At the bottom of the strip (closest to your foot), turn a small area back against the strip. It should be resting flat against the strip about to be removed.

* Lift the end as instructed and pull back toward you. Do not pull up. Pulling back is the correct procedure.

* Bite down on your lip GENTLY. The pain will ease up in a second or two. ;)

* Repeat procedure if you have missed a few hairs. * Continue the leg until you are hair free!

Foods for Healthy Skin: What Vitamins and Minerals are Good for Your Skin?

When it comes to our skin, what we eat is very important. Skin is the biggest organ, and it deserves all the nutrition we can give it.

One the most critical elements of skin health is vitamin A, and one of the best sources of this vitamin is low-fat dairy products. As a matter of fact, the health of our skin depends on vitamin A. Low-fat yogurt is high in vitamin A. Other excellent sources of vitamin A include cod liver oil, carrots, leafy vegetables, sweet potatoes and fortified breakfast cereals.

You also need to eat foods rich in antioxidants, such as blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, and plums. The benefits of these fruits for healthy skin are considerable. The antioxidants found in these fruits can protect the skin cells. As a result, there is less chance for damage.

This in turn protects against early aging and skin looks younger. Other fruits and vegetables that are rich in antioxidants include artichokes, black, red, and pinto beans, pecans and prunes.

Essential fatty acids are vital to your skin. You should include salmon, walnuts, canola oil, and flax seed.Essential fatty acids keep cell membranes healthy, and allow nutrients to pass through.

We also need healthy oils. Eating good-quality oils helps keep skin lubricated and keeps it healthier overall. Try to find oils that are cold pressed, such as olive or extra virgin oil. Our bodies only need approximately 2 tablespoons a day of healthy oils.

Selenium plays a crucial role in the health of skin cells. Eat foods like whole-wheat bread, cereals, muffins, turkey, tuna and brazil nuts. Latest studies discovered that if selenium levels are high, even skin damaged by the sun will only suffer negligible harm.

Processed and refined sugars can instigate inflammation that may eventually lead to skin break outs. Green tea has anti-inflammatory properties, and it protects the membrane of the cell. Green tea also plays an important role in the prevention of skin cancer.

Water has an enormous effect on the health of your skin. Healthy and young-looking skin is also a well-hydrated skin.

Healthy Skin - Naturally

Your busy modern lifestyle leaves you little time for pampering your skin. The result: Your skin isn't the same baby-soft body glove you were born with. As age catches up, your skin gradually becomes thinner and finely wrinkled. Oil-producing (sebaceous) glands become less active, leaving your skin dryer. The number of blood vessels in your skin reduces, your skin becomes fragile, and you lose your youthful sheen and color.
Good skin care will definitely help delay the natural aging process and prevent many skin problems. We list below some vital aspects of skin care, the important factors, what is good and what is not good for your skin. These simple skin-care tips are sure to help you protect your skin to keep it healthy and glowing for years to come.
1. Protect yourself from the sun
The best way to take care of your skin is by protecting it from the sun. Ultraviolet light the invisible but intense rays of the sun can damage your skin and cause deep wrinkles, dry, rough skin, liver spots, and more serious disorders, such as noncancerous and cancerous (malignant) skin tumors.
2. Don't smoke
Smoking accelerates the normal aging process of the skin, contributing to wrinkles. Skin changes as a result of smoking can be seen in young adults who have been smoking for as few as ten years. This is because smoking causes narrowing of the blood vessels in the outermost layers of your skin. This reduces blood flow, depleting the skin of oxygen and nutrients, such as vitamin A, which are important to skin health. Further, the repetitive facial expressions made when smoking such as pursing the lips when inhaling and squinting the eyes to out keep smoke also contribute to wrinkles.
3. Wash your skin gently
Cleansing is an essential part of caring for your skin; the key is to treat your skin gently. As far as possible, use warm water and limit bath time. Hot water and long showers or baths remove oils from your skin. Limit your bath or shower time to around fifteen minutes or less and, here too, use warm, rather than hot, water. Also, avoid strong soaps those most capable of stripping oil from your skin. They leave your skin dry. Choose mild soaps, rather, with oils and fats added to them during the soap manufacturing process. When removing eye makeup, do so carefully, using a soft sponge, cotton cloth or cotton balls to avoid damaging the delicate tissue around your eyes. If you wear heavy, waterproof makeup, you might have to use oil-based products such as petroleum jelly.
4. Moisturize regularly
Moisturizers definitely help maintain your skin's natural moisture levels by providing a seal over your skin to keep water from escaping or by slowly releasing water into your skin. The most suitable moisturizer and the frequency with which you need to moisturize depends on many factors, including your skin type, your age and whether you have specific conditions such as acne. One good way to find out if you need a moisturizer is to wait for twenty minutes after bathing if your skin feels tight, you should apply a moisturizer.
5. Shave carefully
Shaving is a common and cheap way of removing unwanted hair. Then again, shaving can cause skin irritations, especially if your skin is thin, dry or very sensitive. For a smooth shave, press a warm wash cloth on your skin before shaving to soften the hair, or shave after a warm bath or shower. Never shave dry skin; it can cause razor burns. And always apply shaving cream, lotion or gel before shaving to protect and lubricate your skin. Finally, make sure to rinse your skin afterwards with warm water.
